Lomakivi’s banquet house is an old farmhouse main building where people have gathered for generations.
Today the house offers an atmospheric setting for parties, meetings and various group events.
The main building and the granary date from 1868. For decades the farmhouse parlour served as a shared space for villagers: the temperance society, the Sunday school and the traditional “kinkeri” neighbourhood feasts all gathered here, and at one time the Radansuu library also operated in the house.
In recent decades the house has become a venue for parties, family celebrations and meetings.
The atmosphere of an old house isn’t created by interior decorating – it is already here.

In the banquet house, food can be served for parties and events in Lomakivi’s own style, which respects tradition.
The menu is built according to the season and the occasion. The table can be set with, for example, fish from the nearby area, farmhouse bread, salads, slow-braised meat dishes, oven-roasted root vegetables and local flavours. For dessert, an unpretentious berry cake and Lomakivi’s famous lusikkaleivät (spoon-shaped shortbread cookies) are a good fit.
The food is made by hand and, where possible, local and nearby producers’ ingredients are used.

All menus include the party venue, staff, table setting, table flowers and, if desired, a flower and candle for a memorial table.
